Overview

The Fountain Head Country Club Project consisted of a new 37,000 square foot, two story Country Club Facility in Hagerstown, MD, serving 650 members. The facility is a complete service club facility providing dining, banquet, meeting, retail, golf and tennis pro shops, complete men’s and women’s locker facilities, health and fitness facilities, general office and all of the associated support areas for these services.

The New Project Facility was encompassed on three sides by existing clubhouse facility, (within 4 to 10 feet) on the North, the Golf Course to the West, and the Pool and Tennis Courts to the South. Site access was limited to a small area to the West of the New Facility. Work was planned and staged to allow complete functioning of the existing club house facility throughout the duration of construction. Upon completion of the new clubhouse, all services were transferred to the new facility and the existing clubhouse was demolished. The remaining site was developed and the project completed without impacting continued operation of Fountain head Country Club activities.

The building structure consists of reinforced concrete foundations, structural steel framing, concrete slab on metal decking, wood secondary framing and complete mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler systems. The exterior consists of brick masonry, stone veneer masonry, composite siding and asphalt roofing shingles. Interior finishes consist of extensive millwork trim, natural stone flooring, and high level appointments throughout.
